Helix dehydrator

The inclined helix dehydrator is one of important equipment in the TSMP process. It is used to dehydrate the wood chips washed in the chip washing machine under its deadweight and send them to the steaming bin for steaming.

The inclined helix dehydrator has an inclined helix structure with a sieve plate having the function of filtering at the bottom. The wood chips washed by the chip washing machine enter the inclined helix dehydrator and are dehydrated via the sieve mesh under their deadweight during conveyance until the dryness meets the requirements of the steaming bin in the back section process. The light foreign matters filtered out are discharged to the inclined sieve via the overflow opening, the heavy foreign matters are discharged regularly via the slag-discharging valve at the bottom of the machine and the sieve mesh is washed via with the mesh washing device.
